AMD → Taalas

AMD will pay approximately $2.9 billion in cash and stock for Toronto-based AI chip startup Taalas, with $1.4 billion dependent on unspecified conditions. The deal was announced in August.

Meta → Conductor

Meta has acquired Conductor, an AI coding startup that lets software engineers manage multiple coding agents simultaneously. CEO Charlie Holtz said the team will join Meta Superintelligence Labs.
