Alibaba's Amap has unveiled a new humanoid foundation model, λ0, which learns whole-body tasks from human demonstrations. The model uses first-person video synchronized with body and hand movements to teach robots coordinated movement and manipulation.

AI robotics startup Physical Intelligence is reportedly in talks to raise more than $1 billion in a round led by Avenir and Lux Capital at a valuation of approximately $20 billion, up from $11.5 billion earlier in 2026, according to Bloomberg sources.
