Apple has released iOS and macOS 27.2, featuring new Siri AI capabilities, including the ability to recall past conversations, understand more personal context, and support for five additional languages. Google DeepMind and the World Resources Institute released ForTy, a global map classifying forests and land into six categories using satellite data and AI. The map could support EU deforestation tracking, though it identifies only about half of planted forests and tree-crop areas and 60% of plantations.
